Wont rev under load when cold

Featured Replies

Hey there i got 2005 1,9 TDI 130 Superb Autmatic.

And i love the car just bought it a few months ago and have had loads of trouble with it but still a perfect drivers car.

The problem is that when the engine is cold and put in gear it wont rev. When i floor the pedal allmost nothing happens until it reaches 2000 rpm. then it goes like the wind. The problem persist in the first minut or so after i set off. If i start the car and let it idle for 10 minutes there is also no problem it drives as it is supposed to do.

So far i have changed oil in engine and gearbox and all filters cleaned the egr, and intake and put vagcom at the car and no faults show up. The turbo also feels okay.

I have searched this forum and all other places with no luck.

So i am pretty much out of ideas right now so please any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have a similar problem, I have been told to try BG 44 k fuel treatment. I have ordered it from ebay will let you know if it works.

I forgot to tell that i allready have tried redex and BellAdd.

It have made my cold start easyer but done nothing with the problem descriped in the first post :-(

Boost leak? Faulty egr?

I checked all vacum hoses and we have testet the system and there is no leak. Could be faulty EGR but Vagcom shows no errors and could this problem i am having really be relatet to the egr?

The egr sometimes says a funny noise sort of like a duck :-)
