Any known issues with 1.4TSi engine ?

Hi all,

After looking for ages, I am getting closer to a "purchase" to replace my 2005 2.0 ltr Elegance hatch.

Have recently test driven a 1.4 Tsi estate (2011 SE- 20k miles, £11k)m, and was very impressed with the performance...not too dissimilar to my current car. I have also seen a 1.4 Tsi Hatch, (2010, 30k miles, £9k)......I like diesels, but now do lower mileage and not prepared to risk DPF issues.

Just wondering if there are any known issues witht the 1.4Tsi (122 bhp) engine?

Both dealers offered £2k for my current car, (now getting a bit tatty so seems fair?)

Both have offered to fit a tow bar (£250), and rear sensors (£280...seems a bit high?)

Any input / advise welcome....
