Not sure if this would be of any interest to members here, but I though I'd pop it up on the off chance.

Due to being over 10 years old we are replacing these Ivecos due to contract terms.

There are five of them, all of which are ex-special needs vehicles with a front passenger entry door giving a very large lined and floored rear area with no intrusion from a side loading door.

Tail lifts are underslung and can be removed.

The vehicles have been downgraded (where required) to just under 5,000kg so they are compliant with the London Low Emission Zone.

I am looking for £1,800 per vehicle.

They are all running with an MOT and have previously been through quite strict VOSA tests for PSVs.

Located in East London, if anyone wants to come down for a look.

Funnily enough, I was talking to a bloke earlier who was after something like these, I'll be sure to mention it to him. What sort of mileages have they done and how many do they seat? Is there VAT to go on top?

Messaged someone who may be interested :)

The £1,800 includes VAT as I didn't want to overcomplicate things.

Milages vary, but are typically 150k-200k km, so around 100-150k miles.

As they are special needs buses they have not done astronomical milages like delivery vans.

Typically they have 4 to 6 seats as they have space to take wheelchair clients.

We have some spare seats if required, they are COIF'd as 16 passenger seats which will all fit in the back due to the layout with no side sliding door.

We won't be selling them as 16 seats though (you'll need to find some) as some of the newer ones were short of seats so we've used them for that.

Now I imagine THEY would be the ideal 'blank canvas' for camper van conversion.

If I had the room time and patience, I'd be right in there. Save me a fortune on B&B whilst out on my UK motorsport marshalling travels...and much more fun too.

Get some interior piccies on here Foxy.

Surely one of these could be the basis for another mad project....

Just what I was thinking.

I'll cut you some slack since you're fairly new, have a read through the rules (particularly for sale threads) and learn some forum etiquette.

I've reported this thread for editing anyway. BossFox doesn't need the link or our comments relating to the link on his For Sale thread.

Thread tidied.

Remember this is a for sale thread, not general car chat/off topic

Dont post unless its relevant

I missed it all anyway. :)

would a towbar fit on one of these if the tail lift was removed or is there chassis work to fit the tail lift? quite interested as a service barge for the rally car ans as downplated to 5000kgs I presume would still have a towing capacity of under 8250kgs GTW ?, do they have tacho's in?

They do have tachos.

I can't see any reason why a towbar couldn't be fitted, the tail lifts are just bolted up to the chassis.

To be honest I have no idea with regards to the GTW when towing as that's not my thing, but they were made as vans from new and then converted, so have the towing capacity one of those has.

Unladen they are around 3,500kg including the tail lift and some extra seats.
