Hey I have a 09 TSI vrs and just put a NEUSPEED induction kit on today . It's not as loud dump valve noise as I was hoping so what can I do to make it louder . Heard about dump valve spacers etc or is it cheaper to get. After market DV ? Not wanting to spend much tho

Spacer is the cheaper option. I run a forge spacer with no issues and it's fairly loud

I got an email back from aesomeGTI where they adviced me on the induction kit. They say that as I'm standard it won't be that loud as it's standard boost. They say a spacer won't make it really any louder and only way to make it louder is to run a stage 1 map as it increases the boost so more air being released

Mine is a stage 1. Boost increases from 8 psi to 14 psi. It sounds louder through my intake- the spacer will simply help amplify the noise.

I love the way companies do that just spend £350 + on a re-map it will make it louder, only when on full throttle/full boost but not much louder, theres a forge spacer on ebay now £40 i think .

Got my spacer today. No instructions etc . By forges website I need to jack up the car to go underneath ? Is there no way to reach it from above . Any fitting guide in here

Jack up the car, Take drivers wheel off, remove arch liner (easier access) and you'll see the dv. Undo plug from dv, undo 3 Allen bolts and remove dv. Fit dv into spacer and attach back to the car using the longer bolts, fit plug bk into dv, re fit liner and wheel. Jobs a good un
