Door Seals

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Sorry for all the questions.  I have noticed ALOT of wind noise in my car and from everyone who has been in the back they say its coming from the doors.  I am thinking of changing all the door seals on my car just woundered how much this is going to set me back.

I have a 08 pre facelift vRS

There is a lot of information about wind noise: Door seals is one possibility but biggest culprit seems to be the rear quarterlight window seal.

Can be coaxed back into contact or sealed with something permanent.

I think my car's wind noise which occurs at about 75 mph air speed is coming from the grille and I have not fixed it yet (nor know how to).

Think there about £25-£30 a piece but don't quote me, my rears need changing as the noise is annoying to say the least.

Thats what I have......  Will look into that but think I will change the seals at the same time.
