Hi everybody!

I'm new to this forum and I need help. I have a Fabia 1.4 Classic which is almost 2 years old, 30000 km passed. Recently i've experienced strange noise in my car. It's like clonking, knocking, like plastic lid is loose, can't really describe it. Sometimes it can be heard on the rear and is prettyi silent, but sometimes I can hear it in my gearbox and below the stearing wheel when it's louder. It doesn't seem to be connected to anything (bumpy roads, turning, changing gears, drive in reverse etc.), but it comes in driving, usualy one-two clonks and then sometimes again soon and sometimes nothing for a while. It doesn't have regulary intervals on occurencies, it just happens when it feels like. I took it to the official services but they found nothing so far (they lift it up and check the drivetrain), and they assure me it is nothing to bother about. But it seems that it becomes louder and more often. It is strange cause it didn't happen till few days ago. Till then it worked fine (I had problems with electronics - centralcom board is replaced; and airconditioning - leaves). Soon my guarantee is over and I'm concered that they are pulling me so I can sale my organs to pay it. Can anybody help me please?

Might be worth having your garage have a look at the anti roll bars and having the front suspension bushes uprated -that's what it turned out to be on my 4year old 1.4 Fabia Comfort.
