The powered tailgate on my 1.8 auto superb  estate doesn't always function. When I press the open button on the key fob, it justs unlocks, rises a few cm and stops. After I've manualy lifted up and pressed the close button on the lid, it drops a few cm and stops.

 

on other occasions it operates fine.
