Sunroof on Estate won't close with ignition off

Featured Replies

Well I either have a problem with my sunroof or I'm doing something wrong. Thing is when I operate it while driving everything works as it should but when I switch the ignition off it won't close properly anymore. It goes down to it's closed position all the way and then lifts up again. Interesting this is that if I turn the ignition on again it still doesn't work but as soon as I drive away it works normally and closes when I pull down the button.

Any ideas what can be wrong? It should work properly for approx. 10 minutes after switching the ignition off according to the manual and it did before without problems. Used it many times so far and it worked fine.

Hi,

Sorry, I can't replicate your problem. I've been out playing with mine but it works as expected.

Hopefully someone will have an answer.

Just an update in case anyone experiences the same problem in the future.

Give it a day and it will sort itself out. I was trying to figure out what the problem is that day but gave up pretty quickly. Everything works normally again since yesterday so go figure. I guess the sunroof (or it's electronics) just wasn't in the mood that day  :)
