advice on no-frills detailing and products

Featured Replies

OK. I like to keep my pride and joy looking good as much as possible but simply don't have the time to spend whole days on it.

I wash it every week (10 days max) using a foam pre-wash and 2 bucket method (good so far?).

Where I really need some guidance is regarding polish/wax/sealants. I really want to use a (single) good all-round product every month or so that'll protect the paintwork as well as producing a shine to impress the neighbours.

...or maybe there are products I could use on alternate occasions?

I'm happy to pay a bit over the odds for a well proven product but don't want to go daft!

Thanks very much indeed.

Here's some beads following yesterday's downpour 10 minutes after I'd finished waxing...

You could go far worse than Autoglyms super resin followed by extra gloss protection.

Or britemax aio Max followed by a durable wax like collinite 476s or fk1000p.
