Service interval, missed items

Featured Replies

Hi all, Had my Octavia in local VW dealer to get service/MOT done last week, Checked the pollen filter today and it hadn't been changed,It is totally scruffy, Looked up when the change time is on this and found it's every 2 years, Got back onto dealer and was told no it's a separate item(not included) which must be requested and paid for every service..I know i'd seen somewhere on here about the service intervals on the Octavia which include pollen filter change, Found it, Phoned them back and got an apology for it not being done, they are going to do it next week..Might sound trivial complaining about something cheap enough but when paying over £200 you expect them to do their job.....Make sure guys when getting something done to your cars by dealers or local garages you get exactly what you expect to be done and what you are paying for.
