With the high price of the car here sometimes the dealer (same) will throw in an MTM upgrade. Only 1.2TSI available here.

To be honest if you didn't get a reply in the yeti section I doubt you will get a response here.

MTM are a very well respected German VAG tuner. The only product they offer for the 1.2TSi is the m-cantronic tuning box which is a 3-input tuning box and as such is very nearly as good as a remap. They are claiming 140PS up from 105 and in my experience MTM are conservative in their claims ie. you will likely get more than 140PS.

If it's free, I'd do it.

I don't believe MTM operate in the UK, also there are no officially sanctioned tuning products in the UK. Fitting a tuning box or getting a remap will cause warranty issues on a new car. Individual dealers have offered similar to things in the past but I'm unsure if any do currently.

A lack of Yeti owners in Germany (I assume that is where you are) probably explains the lack of response.

The OP is in Bangkok according to his profile. I definitely reckon not many Yeti owners there.

MTM's distributor in the UK is QS Tuning. I've had several M- and F-Cantronic units from MTM through Kim Collins and they're very, very, good units. The software is very safe and robust.

MTM offer a variety of warranties on their products with the basic (no cost) one being €5000 worth of engine and gearbox repairs if the manufacturers warranty is no longer in effect because of the tuning device.
