These are brand new and only sent to me yesterday as replacements under warranty

In order to keep my network running while this was sorted, I had to order two more. So these are now surplus.

They are still sealed and I only opened the box to check the model numbers and take pictures.

£80 posted for the pair. Not looking to split at this stage.

How much of the original warranty was left?

I purchased the original drives on 15/01/2013 and the replacement delivery note is dated 31/03/2014.

 

I believe that it was a three year warranty on these drives. Making 20 months left on the warranty.

 

What annoys me most is that the process was started well within the first year (approximately 5-6 months) but with delays in getting the computer manufacturer to support the case, the supplier being slow to take any responsibility and the manufacturer testing and authorising replacements, it took much longer than expected to resolve this and get the replacements.

Time taken also probably due to the fact Samsung no longer make standard hdds, only ssds. Sounds like quite a good buy!
