Service countdown

Featured Replies

The service countdown has started on my Scout, and as with all other Skodas I have had, the 100 mile maxidot countdown goes down faster than I am actually clocking up miles. The Skoda agent has told me that I am allowed 1000 miles to get the service done once the service due message appears. The question is which 1000 miles is she talking about? Maxidot or actual?

Because I have had to undertake an unplanned journey I will be nearer to the 1000 mile limit than I thought, but if I go by the short miles that the maxidot uses, I may be over. So how do they tell whether the car is over this 1000 allowance when it goes in for service?

It will be the actual mileage.
