hi does anyone know of how to remove the plastic screen protecting the speedo, and other gauges. cheers.

Remove the dash cluster and it seperates.

you know them aluminium rings u can fir to the speedo etc. i was wanting to do that. how on earth do i take offthe instrument cluster

There's a ~20cm wide plastic peace just beneath the instrument cluster (and above the steering wheel). Pull it out and you will find 2 torx screws (don't know the size, though). Unscrew them and pull the cluster out. Be careful not to brake the plastic screen (as I managed to do so). Now just unclip the front part (with the screen). There's no need to disconnect the wires to put those alu-rings.
