New to Skoda and this forum, having just bought a 2010 1.6 Octavia TDI CR Elegance and took it straight from my home in South Wales to London and back over the weekend, virtually straight from the showroom......
 

I did read this forum as a guest prior to purchase and I am very grateful for everyones contribution to my knowledge and purchasing confidence!
 

Initial impression is one of being very happy with the handling, running and economy over some 360 miles. Most of the features I had on my previous car, (2004 1.9 DCI Laguna Privilage) are also featured in the Elegance, but do miss the self parking wing mirrors as they are not featured. Having no spare wheel is a major minus point, (though not a deal breaker) so have sourced a full sized steel wheel to replace the filler can and air pump!
