Right!  I've now fitted my 20" rims and fitted coilovers which have lowered the car by 6".

OK the ride is excruciating, my 30% profile tyres cost more than the car and I have to re-route around any location where there are speed bumps.  But hey, the car looks well cool.  All I need to do now is black out the windows, fit some blue lights underneath and pop down to Halfords for an even bigger exhaust tail-pipe trim which will give me another 20BHP and halve my fuel consumption.

I bet you're all jealous that you haven't got a car with as much street presence as mine.  And it only cost me 50% more than a genuine performance car!

I don't understand this thread, if its not something you like, don't look at it, I have air ride and 20" wheels on my octy, a lot of people like the way it looks, would I loose sleep if not one person liked it.... No, it's my car and ill do as I please, as will everyone else, but just to pick holes in your post, my 20" tyres cost me less than £400, and because of the air ride I can negotiate speed bumps just fine thank you, I have the diesel and its mapped to 220phb and I stil return 55mpg on a run, and my "chavy" over priced suspension will perform just as well if not better than your standard items.... Hmmm perhaps I should start a thread moaning about all these folk who enjoy their standard cars because I don't like looking at them???? Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean everyone wants to hear it

Mines stupidly low and driven daily, tucks tyre, has camber, poke, stretch. I can't do speed humps and it scuffs, but do I care NO. Was it built for everyone to like NO.

I built it for me and if a few people like it along the way then cool. If some don't then as redders said, I won't lose sleep over it. If everyone liked the same thing or kept a car standard (boring) it'd be a miserable world.
