Squeaking in the cabin hopefully solved

Featured Replies

I've had a squeaking driving me bonkers for ages now. It came from the centre console and stopped if I pushed my left knee against the side.

I think I've finally tracked it down and it's these buggers:

They're the side panels from the side of the centre console in the foot wells. The metal clips rattle over bumps but you can't get to them to stop them doing it.

I've put some silicone sealant on them before putting back in so hopefully it'll stop it.

Just thought I'd put this here in case it's happening to anyone else.

squeaks are the most annoying thing ever on a car, i have one behind the top box bit of the dash that i cannot trace...
