I'm looking at potentially getting an Octy VRS TDI (prob Blackline) & was after a few answers. What realistic MPG are guys getting. Mainly 30 mile A road daily commute, servicing intervals, cam belt change recommends? (Assuming 50-60k??) anyone with the in built sat nav know if & how it updates?

You should be adle to get 50mpg give or take depending on how you drive/what the typical traffic conditions are-I'm getting long term 48mpg brim to brim, but my journeys are more varied as I don't commute.

servicing intervals will depend on your annual milage and type of driving. The fixed service schedule is 10k or 12 months which ever comes first and is the one I'm on as part of the free 3 year servicing deal. Variable is determined by the onboard sensors and can be up to 2 years or 20k IIRC. The servicing costs are normally fixed nationally by skoda details are on their website. Think the minor is 129 and major 249.

The satnav has to be updated by the dealer and I don't know if there's a current upgrade available-the dealer told me the version I got from the factory was the latest.

Think the cambelt interval has just been reviewed by Skoda and an internal instruction has been sent out to dealers. It was ever 4 years or so many miles which ever came 1st(don't know what the maximum milage was though)
