Immobiliser change.

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've recently bought a new set of clocks after mine failed on my 6Y VRS. Me and my mechanic friend have managed to get the clocks wired and set up with the car but as most know the immobiliser chip is kept within the dials so with my new ones fitted the car will no longer start.

I'd imagine the easier way is to get my 2 keys re coded to the new immobiliser. Is anyone on here able to do this, at a cost obviously. Local to the south of England.

Please PM me if your able too.

Cheers Tobe.

You need to get the engine ECU to match the cluster, not just the keys. Do you have the SKC for either cluster?
