Assuming no CANBus upgrade, how long does it take for Columbus to drain a battery on an early Pre-FL?

 

Have installed my RNS315 into my 2007 Scout. Possible battery drain has been mentioned (like Columbus), although there appears to be no definitive answer on this. So am looking to see what happens and using Columbus battery drain as a reference point.

My canbus is 1K0 907 530 K, which I think was the earliest which didn't have the drain issue, so this may well be all for nowt anyway.

I helped someone with a software update whose battery was draining overnight for this early gateway issue. But I imagine its dependent on the battery and its age...
