Anyone know how to remove handbrake cable on a skoda fabia where it enters the car. Does it just pull out or is it held in place with a screw/ nut. Have disconnected  it at caliper and handbrake but not sure whether it just pulls out.  Thanks

 

You have to disconnect it from the lever naturally.

 

Lift the rear of the centre console up and undo the 10mm nut on the cable. When it is slack enough disconnect the balance bar from the cables and then you can pull them out underneath.
