All the fans in the cabin stopped working

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Hopefully someone could help me out, just started my car and there is not fan movement inside the cabin, just like that.

I went thrue a old post however not sure if they are applicable to the Mk2 model 2010 RS I got.

I got dual zone climate control.

I there is no movment what so ever from the system no heat, no cold, not so strange since there is no fan movment.

Hopefully I can get some help or advise what to do next, leaving it to the stealers is not someone I had in mind in doing :)

Thanks in advance guys!

Fuses? VCDS code read and worst case i was quoted around £250 for a replacement fan (new) from an indie.

I'll check the fuses, I've also been reading about the blower that is also could be that, or the resistor on that unit. It's apparently a typical VW group problem. Do you know if there exists a self check on the mk2 octavia for the climatronic module, all the references

i've read was for the old mk1 car. Also the standard stock blower valeo has numerous posts about the poor quality and common to quit my car is 3.5 years old, barely 31.000 miles.
