Hi all,

 

 

I'm looking at coming back to a Skoda in the coming weeks / months. What i want to know is armed with a registration plate number can i get the warranty / service history of a vehicle from either a Skoda dealer or from Skoda themselves??? If from a dealer does it have to be the particular dealer that carried out the work or another of the same company dealership or would any dealer be able to give me this info?

 

 

I only ask as when i bought my Lexus i went in to Lexus Sheffield and the service people brought up the entire history of the car including what it had done on each service etc.... and any warranty work.... so that i knew what it had had done in the past. Bearing in mind the car was from Leicester and had never been to the Lexus Sheffield dealership previously.

Well it wouldn't bring up mine since I've been going to an indy since year 3 and I'd argue that my chap does better work than the franchise.

 

Full franchise history isn't everything.

 

But I'd expect the system to have everything done to the car through the dealer network
