Featured Replies

before i get shouted at ive searched but found nothing definitve and i havnt got the correct handbook for my car but i have pulled up both 5/30 and 5/40

i have no idea on the service history, another long story so dont know its service intervals. however i keep mine once a year regardless of mileage

so its either quantum 5/30 longlife or quantum platinum 5/40?

thanks

It's very important you use 507.00 spec oil as your engine is a PD (cams will wear otherwise) and you have a DPF which requires the low ash content of the 507.00 oil. I'd just get Quantium Longlife III and be done with it...that's the oil VAG developed for this engine and it's what the dealers use.

Thank you very much guys. I now have a digital manual as well now!

It comes as 504.00/507.00 on the label.
