mfd mot working on 2007 octavia

hi everyone,

wonder if anyone can help with a couple of probs on my wifes octavia, the mfd switch on the end of the wiper stalk doesnt do anything so dont know if it shold give you range etc its an elegance model and we dont have user manual. the other problem is the dsg gearbox oil what type of oil does it use and is it a relatively easy thing to do or is it better going to the dealers. kind regards jemmak
