Amundsen and iPhone system sounds

Hi all, just had my first week with my new superb!

I have the Amundsen with navigation system, paired my iPhone 5 with no problem at all and works great with phone calls.

But... It doesn't reproduce any sound when I receive SMS, emails, whatsapp or any other system sound!

Is there anything known that I can do?

By the way, I also have MDI and I'm just waiting the cable, is this something that could be solved with this?

Not sure about this system since haven't got mine yet but I regularly pair my phone to another car and I never get notification sounds coming through the stereo only music. Hopefully someone can confirm about amundsen for you.

Hi, I've never had any system sounds through the speakers from my Android or Windows phones so I guess that it is the same with iPhone's. And yes, I've got an Amundsen+ as well.

Hey, I found in the end that if you connect the iPhone, select media-> Bluetooth then you got all the notifications. Even using the Nav.

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
