Great to be part of an enthusiastic group of knowledgeable Skoda folk. 

Bought a Roomster 1.9TDi two weeks ago and I love it.  It’s like sitting in a cathedral!

Was a little concerned about a knocking sound I became aware of shortly after I’d bought the car (private sale, 200 miles away) but following research on Briskoda was able to see that the drop link rubbers had split.  Told this to the mechanic when I took it in for a service/MOT and he confirmed it was the cause of the knocking noise.  New drop links fitted, MOT passed, all now running smoothly.   Thanks for all the informative posts.
