Fabia VRS coolant leak at bulkhead.

Featured Replies

Hi all, there is a similar thread to this which has been started recently but for a 1.4 MPI but the pipes are all different.

My problem is that since I deleted my egr and removed the egr coolant I can now visibly see a portion of the bulkhead which I couldn't before and I seem to have a minor coolant leak. It must have developed slightly over the past few weeks as I have noticed the coolant level dropping slightly.

The pictures pretty much say it all. Is this relatively easy to sort based on past experience?

So the rubber seals could possibly be shot or the actually pipes bust where they go in to the bulkhead? One bolt holding these pipes in via a bracket across both pipes?

Yes, one allen head bolt in the middle holds them in. It can be a right pig of a job to do. Make sure everything is clean.
