Fuel Filler Help

Featured Replies

Just been washing the motor and whilst using the pressure washer noticed the fuel filler flap had sprung open, resulting in a quantity of water settling in the housing. Underneath the filler neck in the plastic housing there is a small rubber gromet with a hole in it that proceeded to suck the water out.

I presume this drain vents direct back to the outside and not into the tank.

TIA

As far as I know this just overflows onto the ground behind the rear bumper.

At least mine seems to when I was this area.

Always give it a little blast with the airline when checking the tyre pressures, make sure its not blocked.

The above is correct, it drains to the floor not back to the tank.
