I'd like to get some carbon fibre mirror covers for my 2011 grey vrs estate and have found some on superskoda......

Is it me or do the abs plastic ones look more carbon fibre than the real carbon fibre ones??

The real carbon fibre ones look more like carbon fibre. The ABS ones look cheap and tacky. Only in my opinion though; we all have different tastes.

Not my cup of tea but the real ones look real the plastic ones look more like a cheap pinstripe suit under lacquer.

don't see the point?  on a race car where you're trying to save weight then carbon components make some sense, but these glue on top of your mirrors... :-/

 

btw theres a guy on the mk5 forum who has the whole mirror cap in real carbon on a fl vrs - looks great but there are lots of other things i'd spend on first.
