Hello again.

 

I have tried to find a manual, how to do the basic engine service for my Octavia.

Searched through the whole "Guides" section, but still could not find anything.

I have as well googled it but all i have got are some complicated workshop manuals which would take me ages to find what i need.

I would presume that this sort of topic was here previously, so if you do have a link to it, i would be grateful.

 

I understand the basic engine service as replacement of:

1. engine oil and filter,

2. air filter

3. pollen filter 

4. fuel filter

 

Ideally could use some diagrams or photos, but not necessarily.

I thought that might be the answer. 

I just wanted to know if anyone have got a link to a website or forum that has got some info.

Reason being is I need to reference my knowledge to something, for my college assignment, and i am not going to buy a book just to make the reference.

Call me an old ****, but to me, you aren't just spending £10-£15 on a "book just to make the reference", but, instead, it will contain a lot more information in one place so that you can carry out more involved jobs than servicing your engine. You will save that amount of money in no time when you start working on, for example, brakes or suspension.

Thanks for the respond Mankee, I probably will buy the book like you said, for the future ref, but problem is that i have left this assignment till the last minute and i need this info for "yesterday", as submission date is for tomorrow. I was way to busy replacing the injector nozzles over the weekend and didn't have time to do anything else

A trip to Halfords tomorrow morning then?
