  1. Still for sale. I don't even have a vRS any more. 😭
  2. This info is for a 6L Ibiza 2002 to 2008 so should be the same procedure as your Fabia vRS, though I've not altered it on my own Ibiza FR with BLT engine just yet, merely looked at it to confirm that it is set to the standard value. [17 - Instruments] [Adaptation - 10] Enter Channel "03" Consumption correction: Standard = "100" Range = "85" to "115" Increment = "1"
  3. @bspman Argh no, you've only had your car since November when we were talking about going to a mk2 vRs. And now yours has a slipped chain. I sold mine recently.
  4. Yes, all the latest revision parts were used. Main chain and tensioner, balance shaft chain and tensioner, and guides and rails. It worked out about £500 a piece for head shop work, parts to rebuild and garage labour, plus VAT, totalling the £1800. It could be done cheaper elsewhere I'm sure but I was happy with that and am happy with their work (as well as the work done by the head shop) on previous cars as well. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
  5. The repair of mine after tensioner failure involved replacing all eight exhaust valves for non-bent ones (the inlets survived) and a full set of chains, guides and tensioners. Just over £1800 at an independent VAG specialist. Sorry.
  6. Exhaust sold and picked up a few weeks ago. Sorry! I've not been able to edit my original post as my Freedom membership has run out.
  7. I'm beginning to consider splitting the package up, yes. However, you're in Belfast and I'm in Ipswich and I'm not too keen on shipping it. Sorry!
  8. How much will postage be for the dog bone mount be, please? Presumably it's a standard Fabia vRS one?
  9. I bought this set to do the injectors abd seals on my 2.0 TSI Octavia vRS when changing the inlet manifold, but never got round to it and now the car is being sold as is. The set was second hand but only used once, so is pretty much brand new. Hideous RRP of nearly £200! About £109 from Amazon and still just over £100 from eBay. All the information is on the Laser website: https://www.lasertools.co.uk/product/5069 I am after £70 inc. delivery. It's a heavy old metal box with weighty slide hammer n bits contained within it.
  10. With a heavy heart, I have decided to sell my 10-plate Octavia vRS, so the "stage 2" hardware bits that I bought for it will not be fitted. I've got a brand new Milltek non-resonated CAT-back system, brand new Milltek decat downpipe along with appropriate Superpro dog bone insert and an Evolution Motorsports V-Flow intake, which I bought used from an Octavia vRS owner but never fitted to mine. With these bits nailed on, R-Tech normally see about 220bhp and 220lbft, but after remapping, it rockets to 275+bhp and 350+lbft. That would have really unlocked the potential of this engine. Unfortunately, I won't be able to experience this for myself. JKM found gains of nearly 8bhp and 12lbft with the addition of the just the EVOMS induction kit to a completely standard car. Good value for money! Anyway, some more details if you want to read up on the bits. The non-resonated exhaust system has Milltek part number SSXSK008 and it's a twin 76.2mm tail pipe design. The part number of the decat downpipe is SSXAU284 and the Superpro bush is part number SPF3365-80K. The CAT-back system will fit both pre-FL and FL petrol Octavia vRSs but the downpipe will only fit the later IHI turbos and not earlier K03s. http://millteksport.com/exhaust.products.cfm?variantid=319 https://www.superproeurope.com/ajax/part.number.cfm?partnumber=SPF3365-80K&vehicleid=3493&productreferenceid=177751 There is some more info and pictures of the EVOMS intake on JKM's page, along with some back-to-back dyno runs: http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/tsi-skoda-jkm.htm http://www.evoms.com/Evolution_Motorsports_2_0T_TSI_V_Flow_Intake_p/intkvftsi.htm I haven't got any pictures of the actual parts as they are all boxed up 25 miles away but they just look as they are in the links. I am after £800 for the whole lot. I don't really want to courier it all but will consider meeting up somewhere in return for fuel/burger and chips money. I'm based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Someone will enjoy these bits immensely. But not me.
  11. I don't. Best off punching the part numbers into Google and eBay or asking your local TPS to order them in for you.
  12. Festive greetings all. Yes, I also have a vRS-related number plate for sale: VR51 CAT. I've had this on both my mk1 and mk2 Octavia vRSesesessssss for nearly 4 years now, but I don't tow my Caterham with my Octavia any more and I barely even drive the Skoda as it is, so it seems a waste to have this private plate on there. Ideal if you: Have CAT as your initials. Work for the digger company. Like cats. I have two moggies and random people have stopped to chat to me while visting Pets at Home. Other pet stores available. Your name is Catherine or similar. Your name is Icat or similar. You have a vRS to tow your Caterham, in which case, you can use the 1 as a | separator for the plate on the trailer, if you want. You just want a vRS number plate. Other. Regtransfers.co.uk valued the plate at £700 and National Numbers at £718. I think these are both massively overoptimistic, so my asking price is £500 inc. any fees. I'll even post you the three physical number plates I have if you want!
  13. Gah. I wasn't far off! Try the below link. I can't work out which part is for the BWA engine so hopefully you can deduce the correct part from the part numbers. Good luck! http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/OCT/year/2006/drive_standart/419/hg_ug/805/subcategory/805000/part_id/2547366/lang/e
