I see Terraclean have released a new product. Im trying to see which garages/dealers do this in my area. No idea if it needs a different machine or not. Could save a few hundred quid instead of paying someone to manually clean the valves

I've read up on this. I plan to try it very soon on my 114,000 mile vRS TFSI.

 

I know there will be sceptics who say it's rubbish; but it has to be worth a try first before manual cleaning.

Would carb cleaner give the same effect?

A friend of mine had the terraclean treatment done on his 2001 golf gti (135k on the clock) & it improved the throttle response & his mpg improved as well.
