DAB Aerial Connection

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Fitted a DAB head unit from a MK5 golf... (I think) RDS510?

All in no worries... But I need a live connection with ignition on for the Aerial...

Anyone know which wire I can use? Octy Mk2 PFL.

Ta muchly.

Worth checking if you can switch coaxial power on/off in a setting, as I understood lots of dab radios antenna's are powered via the coax?

I know this is defo the case with my Kenwood head unit there is an option to switch off/on the antenna power. There is no separate power cable on this type of antenna.

This is the sort of antenna on the Kenwood:

May be suitable for your radio?

If you have this one it is powered from a separate supply but has a the option to power up the coax too (provided your head can do it)
