Finally I have confirmation my VRS TDi Estate is being built next week after ordering Nov 27th.

So far the crap Skoda have fed me hasn't dented my enthusiasm and at least I've had my Mk2 FL hatch to drive. (I did nearly cancel though)

I guess I now have the fun of waiting for the build, train to Emden, boat to Sheerness and transport to dealer. I reckon mid-July for collection.

Finally I can get excited.

Yes, I finally have a confirmed build week of 25 too. Only about 3 months later than I was quoted. Hopefully it's the beginning of the end to what has been a pretty negative first experience of Skoda.

 

I never felt they were telling me the truth, my order was on the system, then off the system, then on the system again then off the system again for MY15 changes, then finally a confirmed date.

 

Fingers crossed, it finds it's way to me unscathed now.

SUK just called to tell me my Candy White VRS TDI DSG Estate is built and on its way! Well I guess it could still be sitting on a train at the factory but now I'm excited!!

Good stuff. No news on mine yet, but I presume it's nearly there.
