morning, im looking to upgrade my facelift 09 Octavia to remote central locking anyone knows what ccm I need

yeah I just got a non flip key that will only open and un lock the car using the door locks

I run a taxi firm I have 2 a4 sdi octavia's, 5 a4 tdi Octavia's, 4 FL Octavia's and 2 FL superb's

2 of the fl Octavia's didn't come with remote central locking, so I had a universal locking kit put on 1

i'd be extremely surprised if a Blackline didn't have RCL. Just phone Skoda & ask them to confirm from your reg number. I'm pretty sure it will have it so all you will need to do is getting someone like me to sort you out a new remote key

The "Classic" trim came with central locking but no remote.

 

In order to retrofit you would need a new CCM (Comfort Control Module) from a car that supports remote locking and then also the remote receiver. And some remote keys of course.

have you phoned Skoda to ask them if it has RCL or not? don't go buying another CCM when you may not need 1

no I haven't but I will in the morning

is I possible I may have a RCL CCM because i had the car from new and only 2 keys without remote came with it

ah right, i can't say i've ever seen a VAG supplied with 2 manual keys from new when it has a RCL CCM. Although that doesn't mean it's not possible.

 

I'm just started building a database for CCM part numbers that have RCL & what model/year cars each is compatible with. Unfortunately since i started it last week i haven't done a mk2 Octavia key

i'd definitely be phoning Skoda to confirm

2009 Octavia generally uses a 1K0959753N remote, although it is a changeover year & i have seen some early 2009 models using a 1k0959753G remote. The part number CCM for G remote is 1K0959433AK. Not sure what the part number is for K remote. Would need to get my hands on 1 to check part number with VCDS

I think he's probably talking about an Octavia S not a vRS.

 

The "S" Spec didn't come with remote locking.
