Fabia vRS Tailgate washer

Featured Replies

Is Fabia vRS tailgate washer jet REALLY designed to hit the underside of the spoiler and then run down the rear screen or can you adjust the nozzle which seems to be somewhere in the wiper arm pivot boss?

Its getting dark outside and I left my glasses at work - is that idle or not!

;):o

I would consult the dealer to adjust it for you. It doesn't sound right at all. Being such a new car, the dealer should really be the first port of call for things like this that are delicate, that way if they break it, they fix it.

stick a pin in the nozzle jet and adjust it in seconds :)

Ahh... Have glasses now.....and its daylight.

Black plastic cap over wiper arm spindle unclips and pivots up giving access to the nozzle post. After few minutes with the supreme commander in the pilot seat and me with suitable sized pin, it now directs just where it should.

that's 14 items the garage missed before i collected it last week - so much for buying an "Approved" skoda, wish i kept my old car now :(

Bad break, at least mine was an easy fix. You've paid the money so demand the service, all the big named brands hang their hats on the "Approved...." used/pre owned sales pitch so make them deliver second time round if they proved incompetent to do it first time.

I've spent 30 years in the business of making people deliver on their commitments, and unfortunately its rare that any organisation or individuals tick all the boxes. Its well worth doing your own point by point check as far as possible. My son has a friend who works in Mercedes dealership (auto technician) and you'd think that the brand and the
