Drivers door courtesy light

Featured Replies

My drivers door courtesy light has fallen out. Can anyone tell me how to re-fit please?

It just clips in.  Push up vertically from the bottom of the door card.

You may check that the clips have not been snapped off, I have previously had the ones in my old car (MY07 Jetta which were identical) clips snapped off when a passenger who was alighting kicked the light with their toe.

You will have to take the whole light part out of the door in order to make the front part of it "click" together.  Then you can simply push the whole light part back into the door... again it should "click" in to place.

Found this out myself after fitting led's all round.

Thanks a lot. It is daylight now and I can see what I'm doing!!, The unit had cracked when I tried to close the door, but the clips were intact so nice and easy to refit. Thanks again
