Roadhawk HD GPS lock problem

Featured Replies

Right,

I did a decent job yesterday of hard wiring my Roadhawk HD in my Yeti, using a piggyback fuse.

The problem I have now is that during my driving, the RH takes absolutely ages to get a GPS lock in the Yeti, it has been okay in most other cars.

What could be the problem?, I have mounted it just below the black texture on the windscreen behind the mirror.

Do you have the heated front windscreen?

No I don't but I do have heated nozzles

Is the sensor shielded by the mirror?

Relocated the power cord (which was rolled up and sitting on top). Now it works!
