This may seem like the dumb question but does a 2006 Octavia 4*4 have a DMF fitted.

 

Mine as now done 110,000 miles and shows none of the symptons listed in the various topics in these forums.

I imagine so. You'll get more response if you post this in the Mk2 Octavia forum. 

Yes it does.  My old mkI Octavia did 115k without any sign of DMF issues.

 

As booke23 suggest the mkII Octavia forum would be a better place for this question.
