New owner. Bought a Yeti Tools missing.

Featured Replies

Just bought an "approved" used yeti from a main dealer. Vehicle is 18 months old.

I have noticed a few items missing.

There is no warning triangle or first aid kit.

I have a tyre inflation system but no jack, I take it that is correct or should I have a jack as well?

There is no towing eye, spare bulb kit or wheel stud cover removal tool as mentioned in the manual.

I have one screwdriver a locking wheel nut adapter and a litre of oil.

What am I actually missing before I call them tomorrow.

 Thanks.

In UK, the warning triangle and first aid kit are not supplied, they simply give you the areas to store them. This is also the case with the bulb kit.

I would not expect to see a jack or nut cover remover tool there either as if you have no spare wheel, what good are they to you?? I bet there's no wheel brace either? (not meant to be sarcastic!)

HTH

yep, got a new one, and none of these items are included

Out of your list I would expect that you should have the towing eye and the wheel cap removal tool.

Out of your list the only things you should have is the towing eye and the nut cover tool.

Generally they all hidden in various slots in the foam fitting under the boot carpet

Mine has come with a reversible screwdriver with some sort of hex drive each end and a L shaped screwdriver, not sure why.

I think the L shaped screwdriver is to remove the screws holding the rear light

 covers (inside boot aperture?).

The plastic tweasers to remove the locking wheel nut covers are easily lost and I find tyre outfits use a pair of

pliers or similar to remove them anyway so no big deal..
