Door Lock Mechanism

Featured Replies

My drivers door lock micro-switch is faulty, and doesn't recognise when the drivers door is open. I've read elsewhere that there is a manual fix for this by using an Avensis door switch and fitting to work manually - although i'd prefer to have it fixed properly.

I've searched ETKA and got the part number which is 3B2 837 016 T to try and find a second-hand one. My question is, are any other revisions compatible, either the prefix (3B2) or lthe revision (T) - i've search 'S' and that states that it's only for non-CL cars - or even a completely different model from a Golf/Octavia/etc.?

Thanks in advance!
