Hello, Pleased to meet you all. I am currently a proud Skoda Superb driver. I have been for 3 years 7 months. BUT it's time to change. I am a company car driver and have an allowance.  So for my allowance I can get a Skoda Superb again but I always like to change. I have my heart set on a VRS. I can get it within my allowance and have some cash left for extras.

 

So my basic build will be a VRS Hatch with Black appearance pack and tinted windows.

I have enough left for ONE of the following.

 

1, A colour like race blue or moonstone white.

 

2, Choosing a basic colour like white or laser white and having the xtream 19" wheels.

 

But I need help. if I choose the paint over the wheels, what does moonstone white look like?

 

Do I choose paint over the wheels?

 

If I choose wheels, does the candy white look better than the laser white?

 

Has anyone seen the laser white? does it look better than candy white on the VRS?

 

If you could let me know your thoughts please. I have seen and had a demo VRS for a week in candy white. and LOVED it. but I have not seen a Skoda in laser white.

 

I wouldn't pick any of them and go with the winter pack, purely for the heated screen.

Hello SC03OTT. I have had a look, can not see the winter pack on my options list with the vehicle supplier. company cars seem to offer different options than the dealer. I can see the heated window screen only £200. even though I can scrape the window myself. I could get this with a base colour but which one.

 

Candy white or laser white?

 

this is the main reason I am asking. I am having trouble finding anything in laser white. what does it look like?

 

VRS hatch. Black appearance pack, tinted windows. Heated screen but what colour out of the 2?

I went for meteor grey as it was cheaper than a metallic colour. And then the Bluetooth phone kit for work driving.

Yes I do like the meteor grey. I would love to see one in the flesh. I also like Rallye Green but the other half does not. and she is the fleet manager so I need her to order it LOL. I need to pick a base colour. but want to know what this laser white looks like. does any one have any pics? as the Skoda configurator is crap at showing colours.

Just a suggestion but try popping to a dealer and asking for a colour swatch of each white and decide from there

I tried to change my order from Candy to Laser white as I had a Candy white Mk2 VRS. However I couldn't do it at the time.

Laser supposedly is crisper, more blue white. I don't think any have been delivered yet. I'd go for it just to be different from the normal candy white. Can't see the point of Moon white paying £500 for metallic which once dirty would probably just look, well white!

Incidentally when I traded my old VRS in and parked them together the 2 candy whites looked different. Possibly 3-year old paint may have changed but it wasn't as bright.
