APR has really outdone themselves with their new stage 1 tune on the MQB platform. 316 HP and 381 TQ. This means that just a stage 1 tune isn't far off from the K04 setup on the older platforms. Naturally Hitler isn't pleased about this after blowing so much money on his MK6 GTI.

316HP...blimey.   Maybe once out of warranty.  And by then there will be reasonable evidence of what else can and can't take the extra power so I can make a proper informed decision.  I've a manual which is hope would take the extra but....

 

The cupra r still had the same manual and dsg boxes doesn't it? Which would mean seat are confident they can take the 285ps that car has.

Out this Monday, going to get it down late next week. Apr recommend upgrading clutch or they can limit the torque from low revs. Seems a very good tune, just makes you wonder the difference in ea888 engines in cupra, golf r etc.
