Kenwood W6541U, you would be surprised how limited your options are when your looking for a head unit with septate mid-level and s-sub level control support set up within its interface, something you will only find on most Kedwood head units, other manufactures tend to overlook those features even on there high end range, hence Kenwood head units are the only real option if your going to had over full acoustic control to a high level amp and just use the head unit as an interface and dock for the i-pod.

there are a few options tbh. Most cost effective is the Pioneer deh-80prs with a 3 way crossover network.

Love the look of those Speakers, but seconds on the Pioneer I've heard nothing but awesomeness for that head unit.

i just need to find the time to install my 80prs lol

Or sell it to me lol hint, hint.

Looks great in the dash and sounds fantastic, better than my P77 but I dont know why lol

Lol can't blame a brother for trying.

I may just be getting one myself in the next couple of days. What's it like for setting up? I'm not sure how different the Octavia is too my Fabia but I have slight clearance issues behind my Alpine head unit, that only has 1 RCA output where as the Pioneer has 3, any issues for you?

Sorry I don't mean to take the thread off course.

the rca's are fine, its the iso block which causes issues in the octavia.

Setting it up, i'd suggest take your time and read the manual. BEFORE fitting it, there are switches on the unit you need to set before fitting it as you cant change them with it in place

Too late I brought an Alpine IDE - 178BT instead. So far I'm quite impressed but I need to spend a bit of time setting it up.
