For sale is a Shark STS unit with cable. It's in excellent condition.

 

This would allow you to switch between a Shark remap and standard map on your car. You would still need to buy the actual remap software from Shark, the handset allows you to switch between the two maps whenever you want and also shows diagnostic fault codes. It also has an immobiliser mode which stops the car being started if you were leaving it for a while. 

 

The handset reads your original engine map which can then be emailed to Shark by plugging the STS into a computer. They do their work on the map, email the remap back then you can load it onto the car. You can then switch between the 2 using the STS handset.

 

The car it was for was put back to the standard map which should allow a new user to use it on any car Shark says it is compatible with.

Would this allow loading of maps from third parties or is it coded to work with Shark maps only?
