I've got a 2010 Octavia vRS FL which has had a Porsche / Brembo 4pot caliper conversion. It is currently running on the standard Neptune alloys with 10mm spacers.

 

I've decided to purchase some 19" wheels to finish the overall look off. So, I bought a full set of 3SDM 0.01 in 19" x 8.5 with the aim of fitting 235/35 19 tyres. (I know some folks would rather go for 225 or even 215 but that's another topic)

 

The wheels arrived today and my main worry was that they wouldn't fit over the calipers. You've guessed it, they don't! They too would require a 10mm spacer to fit properly. The only problem with this is that they would protrude beyond the front arches.

 

The 19" are an 8.5" with an ET42 offset.The standard neptunes are 7.5 x 18 ET51.

 

Has anyone successfully fitted 19" wheels over the top of the brembo calipers? If so, what wheels are you running (size and ET please)?

If you need a 10mm spacer it stands to reason that on the same wheels you have you would need ET32

 

ET doesn't tell the whole story though because the rear profile of some wheels allows you to fit a BBK with greater/lesser offset than another design.

 

Good example are Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 which seem to leave a lot of caliper space.
