Cquartz Session

Featured Replies

Hi all, gave my Octy a go with Cquartz UK Edition. It was prepped with an ultra fine clay bar, Menz 106 on a white Hex pad. Then wipe down with IPA and then used the Erasure and then Cquartz . I gave it a wipe down with Reload.

Alloys sealed with Cquartz and tyres dressed with Megs Endurance Gel.

Wow - really great results and an awesome detail mate.

I'm a big fan of the CarPro products!

Great car as well btw :)

Done the washing and claying yesterday after work. Really did'nt want to start Daing it this morning, but it did have light swirls so just got on with it. A few areas got missed a bit when wiping off the sealant but otherwise its pretty even. Very quick to use, product has a premium feel without silly price.

Thanks. I really appreciate the detailed feedback.

I have some DLUX plastic trim sealant to test and a panel test freebie of Cquartz but not used either as yet....

Yes DLUX looks good, I had just applied 303 to the front plastics, I might try DLUX, I find 303 washes off too quickly and its a bit too shiny for my liking. I use it in the engine bay.

Yes indeed... 303 is ideal for engine bay.

Tried Grechniq C4 on plastics but not impressed.

In the midst of test with Trim-X but DLUX is going to probably get tested over winter conditions by the time I get round to it...

Any pics of the Trim X? Not heard of that one.

Check out the Krystal Kleen products thread in this section.... I posted up that I was testing their samples at the moment.

Great value and so far performing well.
