Got in my skoda octavia elegance 1.6 tdi saturday and noticed that my blowers are not working turned up to level 7 on control nothing but if you turn up temp or put Ac on you can feel slight airflow temp when cars is moving

The only thing I could suggest is a fuse? The blower/fan one.

Should be the fuse box located inside the car near the steering wheel.

there may be a thermal fuse that blows when the heater motor is on the road out , it is mounted next to the heater motor under the passenger footwell check the fuse for continuity if none the fuse is go , last time I replaced it was around 40 pounds from skoda  or repair for 1 pound odd for fuse out of maplins !!!!!

There is a resistor in the heater box. Common on fabias. It's about the same size as a fag box

Thanks for your help I did look for fuse says 5amp all seem to be ok I switched one of the other 5amps still no joy thats if im looking at right fuse according to user man says auxiliary heater blower

@ddobson88: Is this a common fault on the Fabia? I'm trying to solve the same problem with my Octy. The fuse blows at once when I've replaced it. Fuse number four from the top left by the left hand door. (Steering wheel on left side, Norway)
