Query service mk2 Fab VRS

Featured Replies

Hi guys

My maxi is showing service due in 3 days but it had a service less than 5,000 miles ago. From looking at the service manual, it says mine is fixed every 10k so not quite sure why this is popping up? Any ideas?

Cheers guys

Could it be because the Technician did not reset the Service Indicator at the Service.

Or was it serviced only 5,000 miles ago, but 12 months past?

Fixed Service shows as 9,400 miles / 372 days.   You can just reset yourself.  Go into the Menu.

But the Service schedule to protect any  Warranty is by the Skoda / VW Guidelines,

@ 12 months / 10,000 miles.

Unless on Variable Servicing, & Long Life Oil used.

Cheers George.

I've reset it now. It was last serviced at non skoda dealers so I think you're right. They probably couldn't reset it.

Although I've only done 5k from last service, I think it was done end of October last year so will need to get it serviced again next month from the sound if it?
